I have just completed a renovation of a late 1990’s wooden staircase for a customer in Appleton, Warrington, Cheshire.
This included renovating the staircase itself plus redecoration of the hall and landing.
The staircase was sanded down and a special adhesion primer applied. The staircase was then spray painted using TIKKURILA INTACT INTERIOR WOOD PAINT to achieve a nice satin finish.
Tikkurila Intact furniture and trim paint provides a tough scuff and chip-resistant finish making it ideal for painting furniture, kitchen cabinets, interior doors and wooden trim. It is easy to clean. It is available in a Matt (8% gloss), Satin (40% gloss). Intact wood paint can be applied to a wide range of interior surfaces, and dries to a flat 8% matt or a 40% satin finish which is hard-wearing and easily cleaned. Intact will resist cleaning detergents and weak solvents.
It is suitable for application to interior wood, panelling, doors, furniture, walls and MDF.
The walls and doors were painted, again using high-quality Tikkurila products. The walls in a ‘polished pebble’ and the ceilings and doors in white.
